On August 20, 2009, Warehouse 13 was renewed for a second season, on March 2, 2010, it was revealed that the second season would consist of 12 episodes and start airing on July 6, 2010. Jewel Staite had a guest role in the second season opposite Sean Maher. Season two also marked the first crossover event with fellow Syfy series Eureka. Douglas Fargo from Eureka appeared in the August 3, 2010 episode of Warehouse 13, with Claudia Donovan appearing on Eureka on August 6, 2010.
