|Effects||Any contact with the marble triggers a supernatural period of growth. Unless the artifact is quickly neutralized, victims will stretch to the point of severe internal and external tissue damage, eventually leading to death.|
|Source||Basin from the Colossus of Rhodes|
|First Appearance||"Endless Wonder"|
This marble bowl was carved from the stone ruins of the Colossus of Rhodes on the island of Rhodes, after it was destroyed by an earthquake in 226 B.C.E..
The artifact is activated by a simple touch and after a short period of time the victim will start to grow slowly, until its effects start to accelerate the growth process of the victim. If left unchecked, the effects will start to stretch internal organs and skin to the point of tearing. It was collected by Myka.
The effects of this artifact can be slowed by the Gold Spike from the Trans-Continental Railroad.
The bowl came to the Warehouse's attention after several people in the same town reported experiencing sudden growth spurts and getting inches taller by the day. However, by time Pete and Myka arrived the people's bodies were already growing out of control to the point where their bodies were literally tearing themselves apart. It was discovered that all the victims had taken the same cooking class together called "Taste of the Mediterranean" and that the classes teacher, who was also effected by the bowl, had a passion for collecting antique cooking tools from around the world and using them in his classes. After learning this Myka quickly snagged and bagged the bowl.
