Sean Maher as Dr. Simon Tam
Sean Maher is an American actor best known for his brief run as Dr. Simon Tam on Joss Whedon's Firefly. In Mild Mannered he is teamed once again with his love interest from Serenity, Jewel Staite, who plays Loretta, a Detroit pie shop owner. Sean is her boyfriend, Sheldon, the wallflower of the episode's title, who has acquired Charles Atlas' Workout Trunks and the increased density and strength they bring. Unfortunately, as Myka unwittingly quotes, "With great power comes great responsibility" and Sheldon can't handle the trunks.
