Background
The Corsican Vest is an ordinary-looking corduroy vest used by H.G. Wells during the events of "Reset", and was presumably worn by French novelist Alexandre Dumas when he wrote Les Frères corses (French "The Corsican Brothers").
Usage
Much like the brothers on which the novel focused, the Corsican Vest inflicts any harm the wearer suffers on the attacker, instead of the victim. For example, if one were to be shot while wearing the vest, the shooter would suffer a gunshot wound in lieu of their target, albeit does not transfer the projectile from the wearer to the attacker, since Helena had to manually remove the bullet that Artie fired at her, but apparently felt no pain during the interval, since it did not embed itself into her body. During the events of "Reset", H.G. Wells used the vest to protect herself from Artie and the Warehouse agents.

Real World Connections
Alexandre Dumas wrote the novel The Corsican Brothers in 1844. The story tells about two conjoined brothers that, even though they were separated at birth, could still feel each other's pains.
