Cecil B. DeMille's Riding Crop was an artifact featured during Emily Lake, Stand and The Greatest Gift.
Effects[]
The riding crop has the ability to control other people's actions and cause great pain, but this control is only limited to muscle manipulation and not control of a person's mind. The artifact is activated when the crop is bent or twisted. It seems to only be able to control one person at a time.

History[]
The riding crop belonged to Cecil B. DeMille, a famous film director who directed movies like The Ten Commandments, Cleopatra and The Greatest Show On Earth. As a director, the artifact most likely became instilled with DeMille's work ethic of controlling people's actions and telling them what to do. DeMille often saw actors as "meat puppets", although he was far from unique in this, Michael Curtiz famously referring to Errol Flynn as "my beautiful puppet". He was also known for cultivating the image of the omnipotent director, complete with megaphone, riding crop, and jodhpurs.
The artifact somehow fell into the hands of Walter Sykes, who used the riding crop on many occasions during his endgame to destroy the Warehouse, mostly by forcing the Warehouse Agents to pull their guns on others and themselves.
In The Greatest Gift, MacPherson (still alive in the alternate reality caused by Philip Van Doren Stern's Upholstery Brush) used the crop to control Mrs. Frederic and take her to the Bronze Sector.
