The Squalus was a submarine that sank in 1939; members of the crew were able to survive for 40 hours on minimal oxygen before being rescued.

Usage
Steve Jinks used this artifact on Claudia Donovan while she was unstably bronzed in order to slow down the rate at which she was crumbling away.
